To Norcross Garden Club Members,

We, as the Nominating Committee, have been working since August to fill a slate of officers for the next 2-year term beginning March 2021.  Leanne and the board have done an amazing job as reflected in Georgia’s Garden Club of the Year Award along the many other awards for our club.  With such accomplishments, moving forward in leadership has been difficult.

We ask you, in this season of thanksgiving,  to reflect on your membership and how   much it means to you and how you plan to share in your membership going forward. As we all know Leanne “did  a lot” and we are grateful. But as she steps back, it’s up to each and every member to keep our club going strong.  A big thank you goes out to Jeanette Shewbert for taking on our aging cottage and all the repairs. Her love for our club and cottage compelled her to dig deep and give more. Such an example to us all.

Below is the slate of officers that you as members will be able to vote on at the  February meeting. But other nominees may also come from the floor at that time.   Also included is a list of club committees and members who have volunteered for some of the leadership roles. Please consider volunteering for any of the open positions. Each committee will also be seeking volunteers to make up the team.
