Arbor Day – Tree Planting

Arbor Day 2018 Flyer On behalf of the Norcross Tree Board, you are cordially invited to attend and help, if desired, the planting of a tree in the front lawn of Johnson Dean Forest. This preserve offers a short loop forest walk and nestled in downtown Norcross, the addition of the tree is a perfect way to help the city celebrate Arbor Day 2018. Following the planting we will have a guided tour of the old Water Works Building and the nature trail through Johnson Dean Park. 

For carpooling options, please meet at the Clubhouse Cottage on College and carpool over to the Johnson-Dean Park.

You can find Johnson Dean on Barton Street between Sunset and Buchanan. Limited parking at the park but street parking would be okay for the event.  Additional parking available at Thrasher Park. It’s a short walk down the hill on Buchanan to Barton.
