We will be working with Girl Scout Troop 2676 on a Silver Project in Johnson Dean Forest, 45 North Barton Street, tonight from 5pm to 7pm.

The project will include installing both sun and shade native flowering herbaceous perennials. To enrich the experience, Tixie Fowler has planned some outdoor learning to include a trail walk before the planting begins. Some of the native plants to be installed will include: native azaleas, wild ginger, bloodroot, mayapple, purple beauty berry, creeping phlox, stoke asters, buckeye and more. A representative from the Bee City Committee will join us.

Members feel free to join us and to bring a native plant from your garden to install in Johnson Dean Forest.
