Cottage Garden Care Team

Next garden workday is Wednesday, December 22nd at 10 am. Bring your gloves and favorite tools. Contact Leanne Penman with questions (leannepenman2@gmail.com; 770-715-4901).

Evening workdays are suspended until there is more evening daylight. We invite all members and friends to stop by anytime to pull weeds, pick up debris, trim as needed, etc. It takes many hands to keep our garden looking good. Grab a friend and spend a little time outdoors while tending to our garden! Contact Pam Cammarata if you have questions or need more information. (770-314-9541; pmcsmile@yahoo.com).

Meet The Windy Willows and Learn about their Worm Bin Project

They are a group of three 6th grade Montessori students raising money for an educational graduating trip to Key Largo, where they will learn about coral reefs and other ecosystems. These young ladies are also

members of our Norcross Earth Team (NGC YOUTH Garden Club) See the attached flyer to learn more about their worm bins.  Great gift idea for yourself or a gardener you may know.  Please pass this information to your family, friends, and fellow gardeners.

Garden Club of Georgia, December 2021 Gardening Issue “For the Love of Christmas Cactus” by Linda Doiron

Linda Doiron, our very own Norcross Garden Club member, is the state Gardening Editor for the Garden Club of Georgia. If you are looking to add color and texture to your holidays, consider a Christmas cactus.
