Highly recommended read by Staci Catron during the Cherokee Garden Club Library tour at the Atlanta History Center. An excerpt from the Amazon review: “Drawing on her life as an Indigenous scientist, and as a woman, Kimmerer shows how other living beings―asters and goldenrod, strawberries and squash, salamanders, algae, and sweetgrass―offer us gifts and lessons, even if we've forgotten how to hear their voices.”

A walk in the woods…
Three lovely gardens all tucked under the canopy of Georgia’s woodland oasis. Gail Thompson, Susan Welch, and Kathy Sumner, we appreciate your time preparing for our visit and for sharing your gifts. It was such a treat. Thank you for a delightful Thursday morning.
