Garden Therapy Holiday Project

In past years, we have collected gift cards to donate to the Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries.

These helped provide food and gifts for families in need during the holiday season. Please consider a $25 gift card for any grocery store, Target or Walmart. You may also make a monetary donation of any amount that will go toward the purchase of gift cards.   Cards or donations can be brought to the December socials.

Tuesday, December 9^th Christmas Holiday Celebrations at the Cottage.

We are changing it up this year! There will be a Christmas Luncheon (11:30AM to 1:30PM) and a Christmas Dinner (6:30PM to 8:30PM). Members have a choice to attend the Luncheon or Dinner or both! Please text Leanne (770.715.4901) to reserve your spot!

Cost is $25. Payment is due by December 1^st.

You may pay by check, credit or debit card, Zelle or PayPal.

Checks: Mail to Norcross Garden Club, PO Box 576, Norcross GA  30091.  Please text Jeanette (770.329.1411) and let her know you mailed a check.

PayPal: Please note our website is experiencing technical difficulties.  You may get an error message when trying to access it.  As a workaround, go to PayPal to login to your account or sign up for an account.   To send a payment you will need our PayPal ID: events@norcrossgardenclub.org. 

Type in $25.00 for the payment amount.  In the notes box include your name and specify if you’re paying for lunch or dinner.

We are bringing back the voluntary Ornament Exchange. If you would like to participate, please bring a wrapped ornament valued at $10 to the meal of your choice (Lunch or Dinner)

Let’s Deck the Cottage for the Holidays and Norcross Christmas Village!

Decorating Workday is Tuesday, December 2^nd, 10AM-2PM 

We need fresh greens from your garden, pinecones and other dried materials. 

·        Drop off greens and other decorating materials at the cottage by December 2^nd.

·        Decorating workday is Tuesday December 2^nd 10AM-2PM Let Kathy know if you can help (678.357.8684) If it’s raining too hard, we’ll focus on the inside and postpone the outside to Wednesday or Thursday.

·        Christmas Village Prep-Wednesday and Thursday December 3^rd and 4^th from 10AM-2PM. Tasks include setup of cottage for the event, prep kids craft projects, price and setup items for sale. Please bring any kind of holiday décor, house plants in decorative containers, or garden related items to the cottage by December 3^rd. Items must be in good saleable condition. All proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund.  We also need items to make Gift Baskets that will be offered in a “bag” raffle.  We will sell raffle tickets, and the customer can deposit the tickets in the bag for the basket of their choice.  We will draw the winners at the end of the event.

·        Christmas Village Event, Saturday December 6^th 10:00AM-5:00PM. Volunteers are needed in 2-hour shifts, beginning at 10AM to help with the crafts for kids and to sell the bows and other merchandise on Saturday, December 6^th. Please contact Jeanette (770.329.1411) to sign up!
