We delivered gift cards totaling $500 to the Neighborhood Cooperative Ministry after our Christmas celebrations! A Heartfelt Thank You to all members who contributed gift cards. These helped provide food and gifts for families in need during the holiday season.

Thanks to all who helped with our Christmas Celebrations. The brunch and dinner were delicious, and the cottage was beautifully decorated.  We had fun learning unique facts about members and with the ornament exchange.  And most of all, we enjoyed socializing with old and new garden club friends!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy, Blessed New Year!

Sustainability Tip of the Month from Garden Gateways

Read Lorene Faulkenberry’s article “Environmentally Yours” on p.8.  She discusses litter control and roadside beautification, the challenge of keeping rivers alive and clean, ideas for making our yards more green, and consideration of planting a tree in our landscape.  Lorene reminds us that besides our group sustainability activities, each individual’s choice also matters.
