 Enchanted Forest Was a Success
Thanks to all who organized the event, members who created themed fairy houses for the trail, and members who assisted with the children and adults during the event. Over 90, nearly 100, in all contributed or participated in this year’s Enchanted Forest. It was our largest turnout for participants. The children were intrigued and excited searching for fairy houses, listening to stories and then using their imagination to create their own fairy house to leave in the forest. A fairy house on the Enchanted Forest trail A fairy house on the Enchanted Forest trail Big or small, we appreciate our members’ contributions: Dorothy Archer, Debbie Boyd, Julie Fitzgerald, Tixie Fowler and Terry Sutton!!, Cathy Nelmes, Nancy O’Reilly and John!, Leanne Penman, Susan Rohrabaugh, Trudy Rudert, Jeanette Shewbert, Gena Spears, Kathy & Paul Sumner, Laurie Wakefield Susan Welch, Rosemary Wickham and Sandra Pagano. Our thanks to former member and Storyteller Linda DeMaris and her helpers for spinning tales as they led the children to the fairy houses in the forest.
