Native Plant Sales

Wild Roots Nursery Native Plants (https://wildrootsnativenursery.com/)

“The heart of Wild Roots Native Nursery is the determined commitment of its founders to fostering a revival of native gardening. Trecia and Stephanie, with dirt under their fingernails, want to educate their communities (and then some!) about how native plants are best conditioned to thrive, attract pollinators and other wildlife, enhance the environment, and add natural beauty to every landscape.” Check out the website for more information about the nursery and its founders. A selection of native plants from Wild Roots Nursery will be featured on:

Saturday, October 12th-9am-1pm, at Cliff Valley School, 2426 Clairmont Rd, Atlanta

The State Botanical Garden of Georgia 13th Annual Native Plant Sale 2540 S. Milledge Ave, Athens

Thursday, October 10th and Friday, October 11th 2pm-6pm

Saturday, October 12th 9am-2pm

Join garden professionals at the Mimsie Lanier Center for on-site plant shopping. Experts will answer questions about incorporating native plants into every space, from large gardens to pots. All of our plants are grown here at the garden, the majority from locally collected seeds, and all without harmful chemicals. Find plants that support Georgia’s birds and insects. Proceeds support the center’s conservation efforts.
