2 DIGS from City Containers – Meet at Norcross Cottage Garden
Sunday, April 12, 2PM – 4 PM and Monday, April 13 10AM – 12PM
Many hands are needed! Please respond to this email or text Kathy S if you can help, (678-357-8684) This is an exceptionally large dig. We really need to know how many helpers will be available. The plan is to have a team of volunteers digging from the various containers along the streets of downtown Norcross. The plants will be transported to the cottage, where another crew of volunteers will be potting, labelling, counting and recording the quantities of the dug plants. If you have a family member, friend or neighbor who likes to dig in the dirt or could help with the other tasks, bring them along! All are welcome!! No experience necessary, we will train as we go. Please bring gloves, snips and your favorite digging tool. If you have a wagon or cart that we can use for transporting the plants, please bring it to the cottage.
Individual Garden Digs -if you are digging plants from your own garden, please provide a list of the plants and quantities by type of plant as soon as you have it. Please send it to Jeanette Shewbert. It doesn’t have to be fancy-a copy of a hand-written list is perfect. Take a picture and email or text to Jeanette (jmosowski@gmail.com); 770-329-1411) If you have any unusual plants, please provide a picture when you drop off your plants.
Potting Soil and Pots
If you picked up potting soil and pots for potting your own plants for the sale, please return any excess to the cottage.
