As Garden Club of Georgia, we are members of the GA Water Coalition  – a group of organizations that promote clean water for all Georgia residents.  This is the group that sponsors Capital Conservation Day annually in Atlanta.   Many of the Riverkeepers are on the leadership team.  Join water advocates from around the state virtually on May 17th for our annual spring Georgia Water Coalition membership meeting. We will debrief the 2021 Legislative Session and discuss priority water policy issue ideas for the 2022 Session. Highlights of the meeting include an opportunity for GWC members to suggest 2022 priority water policy issues, update on titanium mining threats to the Okefenokee Swamp, 2021 Clean 13 Awards nominations, new GWC mentoring program and more!
