Cottage Garden Care Team

No January workdays are planned.  Stop by anytime to pull weeds, pick up debris, trim as needed, etc. We also have Plot 3 at Discovery Garden that needs some attention. Saturday, January 29th National Seed Swap Day

Duluth Library (3180 Main Street, Duluth) is holding a Seed Swap, Saturday, January 29th from11am-12 noon. Stop by to meet fellow gardeners and swap seeds.  Pick up something new for your garden and share extra seeds that you have. Stop by our Cottage and pick up seeds shared by Jeanne Davis and Dolores Stewart and other members.

The Garden Club of Georgia January 2022 Update features a list of popular online seed companies.  The Update also includes a “save the dates” list of upcoming meetings and events. (See attached)

This session is perfect for all gardeners from novice to the more experienced. Learn to grow your vegetables from seed! Gwinnett County Master Gardener, Laurie Wakefield will share the many benefits of starting your vegetables from seed including information about timing, tools, and techniques.
