Georgia Arbor Day Celebration, Friday February 24, 10AM at Norcross City Hall

The Norcross Garden Club is partnering with the City of Norcross for a Georgia Arbor Day tree planting and celebration this Friday, February 24 with 143 THIRD GRADE students from Norcross Elementary.

The event begins at 10AM. If you’re able to assist contact Leanne Penman, LeannePenman2@gmail.com, 770-715-4901.  We’ll meet at City Hall between 9:00 and 9:30. If you'd just like to participate, be sure to be at CITY HALL at 10AM.

A few of us will also be meeting at 5pm Thursday, February 23, at the cottage, to assemble “goodie bags” for the students. You’re welcome to join us then as well.

A special thank you to Julie Fitzgerald, Dolores Romero-Stewart, and John O’Reilly, for helping to create and print the PLANT AMERICA materials for our student’s “goodie bags.

National Garden Clubs-Garden School Course 4-Zoom Class March 20-21
