This week in the garden vol. 13

We celebrated National Garden Week in many different ways. From making beautiful flower arrangements for City Hall and the Public Works office, to making small arrangements for our local Neighborhood Meals on Wheels clients, various members, and small businesses in Norcross, to a fun group traveling to Athens to see The Founders Garden, Garden Club of Georgia Headquarters and Georgia Botanical Gardens. We have such a unique club with lots of different ways to celebrate and honor the members and garden clubs that have come before us.

Many of the folks who received the beautiful arrangements were so thankful and appreciative.  One gal said she cried when she saw her parents who are shut-ins holding their beautiful arrangements beaming with joy.

The Cottage repairs have begun, and it is looking fabulous! A big thank you to Jeanette for coordinating this large project.  Thanks to Karen, Saundy and Kristin for their insight and advice.
